About Us

We are a u-pick blackberry farm in southern Vigo County, Indiana. Our farm uses a trellis system, which allows the plants to be laid flat and covered in the winter months for protection. The trellis system also means the plants are able to ripen in the shade in early spring, which makes them sweeter! In early summer, the trellis system is raised, and the plants face the east for picking. The plants are about 6' tall and provide shade for easy picking!

We currently have four varieties of blackberries - Nachez, Ouachita, Apache, and Chester. Each of these types of blackberries are thornless, which means there is no threat of being pricked while picking!

There are 909 blackberry plants on 1.5 acres in total, and the season typically runs from early July through late August.

You can often find us at various farmers markets around Indiana, including Terre Haute, Plainfield, Danville, and Linton.

In 2019, we were able to create and sell additional products with our delicious blackberries. Be sure to check out our blackberry BBQ sauces, jam, jelly, and syrup!
